Mackay authors Brooke McReynolds, Jennifer Weekes-Barnett, Daryl Barnes and Paul Vander Loos manned a stall at the July 2019 Whitsunday Voices Youth Literature Festival.
School children from primary and high schools in the region and the west came together for two days of author panels and workshops. We displayed our fiction and educational books there while groups of children passed by between sessions. Guest authors spoke about their books and the art of creating children's and YA literature.
